Description
Elchi is a domestically developed application traffic management platform designed to manage, secure and centrally control service traffic in modern application infrastructures. Built on Envoy Proxy technology, Elchi enables organisations to control API traffic, service communication and application access through a single management layer.
Application traffic in enterprise data centres is typically managed by hardware-based load balancers. These devices generally operate in an active-passive architecture and require investment in new hardware when more capacity is needed. In modern application architectures, traffic volumes change continuously and infrastructures need to scale more flexibly.
Elchi was developed to address this need. The platform is built on a distributed, software-based architecture and designed for active-active operation. All components can process traffic simultaneously. New nodes can be added for horizontal scaling, increasing system capacity without interruption.
Elchi's software-based architecture removes hardware dependency, enabling organisations to build application access infrastructures more flexibly and cost-effectively. As a domestically developed solution, it also aims to reduce reliance on foreign suppliers in critical infrastructure.
