The Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) is the institution that supervises the protection of the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, especially the privacy of private life, in the processing of personal data, and regulating the obligations of natural and legal persons who process personal data and the procedures and principles to be followed. It was published in the Official Gazette with the Law No. 6698 dated 24.03.2016.
