💻 HACKNİĞDE 2026: “FUTURE SOLUTIONS HACKATHON” HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED!
"HackNiğde 2026: Future Solutions Hackathon", held on 25-26 April 2026 at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University - Congress and Culture Center, brought together the technology leaders of the future.
40 teams from 3 different countries and 10 different universities applied to the Hackathon, which was held for the third time this year with the theme of "First 24 Hours After Disaster: Life-Saving Technologies", on topics such as "Fast transportation to those trapped under the rubble, detection of creatures under the rubble (sensor, sound, vibration analysis), Autonomous search robots (drone / ground vehicles), Smart location estimation (last signal analysis with AI), Debris analysis systems with artificial intelligence", with the intense interest of young people. The 22 teams that passed the preliminary evaluation competed to develop “innovative solutions against real-world digital threats” in a 24-hour uninterrupted coding marathon.
Mentoring and Evaluation
During the two days of the event, the competitors were supported by nearly 20 mentors consisting of Niğde Technopark companies, Turkish Cyber Security Cluster member companies and university academicians.
Awards and Closing Program
The event continued with a panel titled "Cyber Security in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Threats and Opportunities". Niğde Deputy Prof. Dr. In the panel moderated by Cevahir UZKURT, domestic artificial intelligence moves, new generation threats in cyber security and the role of technology in disaster management were discussed interactively. Young software developers asked their questions to the leading names of the industry and listened to the experts about the digital world of the future.
