DOMESTIC CYBERSECURITY AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SOLUTIONS FOR THE DEFENSE INDUSTRY MET IN BURSA
The “Domestic Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence in the Defense Industry” event was held at the BTSO Multipurpose Hall on 16–17 July 2026.
During the two-day event, BASDEC member companies attended presentations on domestic cybersecurity solutions, artificial intelligence applications, supply-chain security, cyber hygiene, certification processes and digital transformation.

The panel titled “Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in the Defense Industry,” moderated by Murat ÇİZGEL, Head of the Cybersecurity and Information Systems Department, brought together Mahmut ALMAS, Director at ASELSAN; Mustafa AYAZOĞLU, Director at TUSAŞ; Osman AKIN, Chair of the BTSO Information Technologies and Automation Council; and Ahmet Kürşat ŞEROLAR, Founder of Ankara Donanım Logalarm. The panel discussed the use of domestic technologies, the security of critical infrastructure and opportunities for inter-institutional cooperation.
Bringing BASDEC member companies together with expert institutions and industry representatives, the event provided an important setting for sharing knowledge and developing new collaborations.
