A Cybersecurity Camp organised jointly by GençTek, within YEĞİTEK's R&D and Ecosystem Department, and the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster was held with students from Alanya İrfan Bileydi Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
The opening was attended by Dr. Bilgehan Özbaylanlı, Head of YEĞİTEK's R&D and Ecosystem Department; department staff; Alpaslan Kesici, General Coordinator of the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster; cluster representatives; and administrators, teachers and students from the school.
During the five-day camp, students received practical training in areas ranging from cybersecurity fundamentals and network security to malware analysis, cyberthreat scenarios and laboratory exercises.
Working with expert instructors from the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster, students put theory into practice and developed their cybersecurity knowledge, skills and experience.
The programme highlighted the importance of young people developing competence in critical technologies and national cybersecurity for the country's future.
On the final day, students who successfully completed the programme received certificates from Turkish Cyber Security Cluster and GençTek representatives.
