Türkiye Cyber Security Cluster is working to strengthen the local and national cyber security ecosystem by bringing its members together with public institutions. These meetings aim to provide local solutions to the cyber security needs of both the public and private sectors and to increase Türkiye's independence in the field of cyber security.
The 37th Public Cyber Security Day event was held by the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster at the State Supply Office on May 29, 2025!
Mr. Mazlum BOZAN, who works within the Information Technologies and Communication Authority - National Cyber Incident Response Center (USOM), made his presentation on "Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Management Processes".
In his presentation, Mr. BOZAN shared knowledge and experience on the following subjects:
-Management of penetration test processes,
-Things to consider when purchasing penetration testing services,
-Vulnerability management processes,
-The importance of inventory information in vulnerability management processes,
-How USOM carries out these processes within the framework of the law,
-Execution of vulnerability management processes through KASIRGA and ATMACA projects developed within USOM.
Logsign; Introduced the Unified Cyber Security Operations Platform
Logsign introduced the Unified Cyber Security Operations Platform, consisting of SIEM, SOAR, UEBA and Threat Intelligence components, at the Public Cyber Security Day event. At the event, the Logsign team came together with senior managers and decision makers of public institutions and explained the contribution of the platform it developed to the cyber security experiences of institutions and the advantages they will gain in cyber security processes. At the same time, it was mentioned that Logsign is designed to work together seamlessly and can be integrated into corporate infrastructures quickly and smoothly thanks to its modern architecture.
Senior Cyber Security Consultant Dilan GENÇTÜRK, who introduced Logsign, stated that the solution has made a big impact in the global market, and that thanks to its innovative approach, it offers value far beyond traditional threat detection and incident response and provides ready-to-use capabilities to meet compliance requirements. Many features of the Logsign Unified Cyber Security Operations Platform were mentioned, such as automating and facilitating incident responses and providing quick response with a single click, thanks to its comprehensive data collection, analysis and visualization capabilities. In order for security analysts to manage processes faster, it offers data fusion, analyzing assets and user behavior, profiling, ready-made threat investigation query cards and incident management and response features prepared with MITER Framework approaches.
Technical Solutions Engineer Oğuzhan ÖZDEMİR, who performed a product demo after the presentation, touched upon the platform's smart threat detection and response optimizations beyond traditional SIEM solutions. He detailed many features such as data-driven correlations for holistic event views, adaptive threat detection to create static defense mechanisms, noise reduction and prioritization, and analyst authorization.
The Logsign team aims to provide value-oriented solutions that provide proactive protection, including artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques, for all institutions locally and globally, and continues its strategic R&D investment in this field. He stated that with the studies carried out, they aim to strengthen and increase Logsign's visibility in the cyber security market and to better demonstrate the value we offer to customers.
