T.R. The final of the Cyber Security Graduation Projects Competition, organized by the Presidency of Defense Industries and the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster in order to increase the number of studies such as Thesis and Graduation Projects to be carried out in the field of Cyber Security and to reward them, was held on November 1, 2019. In the final, where 8 projects evaluated by the jury consisting of academics and industry representatives who are experts in the field of Cyber Security competed, the first place was won by "KYZAGHAN - Anomaly Based Network Attack with Single Class Classifier Algorithms" Alperen SOYDAN won with his "Parameter Optimization in Detection" Project.
In the competition, Fatih ÇELİK, Ömer Faruk ŞENYAYLA and Ufuk SÜNGÜ came in 2nd place with the project "Detecting Phishing Sites Using Machine Learning", while Kaan KÜÇÜK came in 3rd place with the project "Developing a Mobile Identity Application Using Trusted Operating Environment Technology".
The winners were presented with their awards by SSB Vice President Mr. In the competition he received from Mustafa ŞEKER, other finalists were also rewarded for their work.
Applications for the Cyber Security Graduation Projects Competition 2020 will begin in December.
