Between 22 and 27 December, the Cyber Security Training Program for Syrian state officials who are in the process of reconstruction was successfully carried out in cooperation with TIKA and the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster. Within the scope of the program, which aims to create competent human resources in the digital world, the basic principles of cyber security, digital risks, personal data security and basic defense approaches were conveyed to the participants.
Transferring Turkey's experience in the field of cyber security to Syrian state officials who are in the process of reconstruction through TIKA; It constitutes an exemplary model in terms of information sharing, human resource development and long-term corporate cooperation. Such qualified training activities have strategic value in terms of strengthening Syria's digital sovereignty, creating a social structure resistant to cyber threats and contributing to regional stability.
During the training process, participants; It progressed through a curriculum supported by theoretical knowledge and practice-based studies. Beyond raising digital awareness, the program aimed to enable participants to act more consciously against cyber threats in business and daily life. The training was held with the support of trainers S4E and Ankara Bilişim, member companies of the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster. Muhammed Eren AKDAĞ from S4E company and Kenan ÖZTÜRK from Ankara Bilişim company were the instructors.
The training program was crowned with the certificate ceremony held on December 26. At the ceremony, certificates were presented to the participants who successfully completed the training. TİKA Education Projects Department Head Mr. attended the certificate ceremony. Uğur Tanyeli, TIKA Education Projects Coordinator Mr. Mustafa Haşim Polat and Türkiye Cyber Security Cluster General Coordinator Mr. Alpaslan Kesici participated.
In the evaluations made at the ceremony, it was stated that cyber security is not only a technical field; It was also emphasized that it has a strategic importance in terms of social resilience, individual awareness and digital sovereignty. The interest and motivation shown by the participants strengthened the vision of disseminating similar training programs.
