Support for New Generation Initiatives in Cyber Security Came from Türkiye Cyber Security Cluster
Initiatives that will shape Turkey's technology vision are implemented under the leadership of the Türkiye Cyber Security Cluster. Seedling Project Demo Day met on stage.
The Fide Project of the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster, carried out with the support of the Presidency of Defense Industries and the Digital Transformation Office, successfully held its first Demo Day event this year as a special program implemented to support local and national technology initiatives. In the program, where a total of 25 applications were received, as a result of the meticulous preliminary evaluation made by the jury panel, 11 innovative startups working in the fields of Cloud Computing Security, Autonomous Vehicle Security and Artificial Intelligence in Cyber Security were entitled to proceed to the second stage.
Initial contact with investors, technical feedback from experts was provided.
The initiatives included in the event were analyzed by the technical jury and mentor committees in line with both technical and general evaluation criteria. Grand jury; It consisted of experts from leading institutions and companies in their fields such as the Presidency of Defense Industries, Digital Transformation Office, Ministry of Industry and Technology, Samsun 19 Mayıs University, Havelsan, Tübitak, Picus, Labris, Milsoft, Türk Telekom and Turkcell.
Strong players in the investor pool attracted attention.
Startups taking part in the event were also encouraged to contact investors directly. Turkey Development Fund, Turkish Development Bank, Leap Investment, T3 Enterprise Center, Selçuk Bayraktar Girişim Yatırımları, Türk Telekom Ventures, Turkcell New Technologies Fund, SSTEK GSYF, VentureArts, ASELSAN Entrepreneurship Center, APY Ventures and Istanbul Teknopark. Funds such as, which prioritize technology and deep technology investments, came together with entrepreneurs at Demo Day.

At the end of the Demo Day, the first, second and third place initiatives were rewarded with special supports in line with the jury evaluations:

In addition, it was announced that support such as mentoring activities, investor meetings and customer connections will be continued under the umbrella of the Fide Project, not only for the successful startups but for all startups in the program.
It was especially emphasized that the Fide Project was structured as the only cyber security initiative program that provides continuity in Turkey and that it will continue to contribute to the cyber security ecosystem in the long term with this structure.
Visionary speeches and inspiring atmosphere prevailed.
The event started with meaningful speeches dedicated to the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The fact that this event was held in the hall named after Nuri Demirağ, the visionary entrepreneur who founded Turkey's first domestic aircraft factory, was evaluated as a strong symbol where the spirit of entrepreneurship combined with its historical heritage.
The opening speech, which began with the words "We are not just holding a Demo Day here today. We are also witnessing the turning point of the journey of turning a dream into reality," once again emphasized the aim of meeting the determination of entrepreneurs with the technology goals of the country.
Our country's technology vision: Cyber Security Presidency
At the event, attention was also drawn to the contributions of the recently established Cyber Security Presidency to Turkey's digital security and entrepreneurship climate. It was stated that this structural reform is an indicator of the importance the state attaches to cyber security, and it was emphasized that new opportunities and support mechanisms for entrepreneurs will continue.
