THE 34TH PUBLIC CYBER SECURITY DAY EVENT WAS HELD

Türkiye Cyber Security Cluster continues to work to strengthen the local and national cyber security ecosystem by bringing its members together with public institutions. The 34th Public Cyber ​​Security Day event was held by the Turkish Cyber ​​Security Cluster at the State Supply Office on February 27, 2025!

Ministry of Commerce Presented as a Sample Application

At the "Public Cyber Security Day Event", compliance and audit activities carried out within the framework of the Information and Communication Security Guide published by the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey were discussed.

The studies carried out by the Ministry of Commerce in information security processes within the scope of Information and Communication Security Guide Compliance and Audit Activities were presented by the internal audit team and the General Directorate of Information Technologies (BTGM) and Birsen SARIYAR. SARIYAR explained in detail the activities he carried out during the adaptation process to the Information and Communication Security Guide and explained how this process sets an example for public institutions.

Nowadays, where cyber security is gaining increasing importance, the studies carried out to strengthen the information security standards of public institutions are followed with great care. In the presentation, the successful practices of the Ministry and the achievements achieved in the audit processes were evaluated as a guide for other public institutions.

At the event, important information was shared on increasing cyber security awareness, the process of compliance with the Information and Communication Security Guide, and the effective execution of audit activities. This event, which is held to improve the cyber security capacities of public institutions, is of great importance in terms of information sharing and experience transfer.

It was mentioned that the Ministry will continue its work to maximize digital security and continue to develop its successful practices in the field of information security.

ACKLOG and TRAPPOT Cyber Security Solutions Introduced

BTRisk introduced ACKLOG SIEM and TRAPPOT Honeypot products at the Public Cyber Security Day event. At the event, it was explained to public cyber security and information technology managers how the critical needs of SIEM products, which form the backbone of the cyber security monitoring infrastructure and are therefore of strategic importance, are met with ACKLOG. BTRisk founder Fatih Emiral stated that the two main principles of ACKLOG are performance and usability.

It was stated that the TRAPPOT honeypot product stands out as a domestic alternative in this rapidly adapted product segment, and its low resource consumption, ease of management and installation, and its critical benefits in early detection of possible attacks without creating a burden on IT infrastructures.

During the event, real-time attack detection capabilities of ACKLOG and TRAPPOT, infrastructure supporting the scalability of the product, a wide range of opportunities supporting threat hunting and threat intelligence, and behavioral analysis and active response capabilities were presented live in a demonstration held in a real environment.

It was noteworthy that the products could eliminate the need for international products with their performance-oriented architecture, their contribution to cyber security monitoring capabilities and their ease of use.

Keycyte Introduces Privileged Access Management (PAM) Solution

Keycyte introduced Keycyte PAM, its new generation privileged access management (PAM) solution, at the Public Cyber Security Day event. As part of the event, the Keycyte team came together with cyber security managers and decision makers of public institutions and shared the innovations offered by the solution and its contributions to the national security infrastructure.

While introducing Keycyte PAM, the CEO of the company, Evren UZUNER, gave a clear message to the participants that the Keycyte PAM solution offers services at a global level, with the phrase "Keycyte PAM Offering Global Experience with a Local Advantage". The ease of use of Keycyte PAM, which adds a new breath to the cyber security world by adding its agentless architecture and simple and stylish design to PAM solutions known for its features such as the principle of least privilege, password safe, password manager, MFA (multi-factor authentication), session recording, was another issue that attracted the attention of the participants. In addition, it has once again demonstrated its sensitivity to the most privilege principle with its privilege escalation transactions. The fact that all of these were managed centrally and increased efficiency was appreciated by the participants.

The ease of management and use of Keycyte PAM stood out with the technical presentation made in a live test environment by the team leader of the project, Emrah ÖZEL. While concluding the presentation, Özel touched on the topics included in the roadmaps and gave messages about the path their projects will follow in the future.

Keycyte Team stated that they aim to eliminate Turkey's import need in the field of cyber security and become the leading PAM producer in our country and in the world.
