The Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence Conference was held under the auspices of the Presidency of Defense Industries, in cooperation with the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster and Defense Industry Artificial Intelligence Capability Cluster and the National Defense University Military Academy, hosted by the Military Academy on 20-21 May 2025.
The conference brought together Turkey's leading institutions operating in the defense industry, experts in the field of cyber security and artificial intelligence, and military academy students for two days. During the event, participants had the opportunity to closely follow sectoral developments with stand visits, panels, speaker presentations and promotional films.
Opening Program and Protocol Participation
The first day of the conference started with stand visits and group photography. In the opening speeches, Head of the Military Academy Computer Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Baha ŞEN, Head of Cyber Security and Information Systems Department of the Presidency of Defense Industries Ahmet Bahadır BÜLBÜL and Dean of the Military Academy Prof. Dr. İbrahim Ethem ATNUR took part. Promotional films of the National Defense University, Türkiye Cyber Security Cluster and Defense Industry Artificial Intelligence Talent Cluster were also shown at the opening.
After the speeches, plaques were presented to the protocol members.
Featured Sessions from the Event
During the conference; Many experts from the public and private sectors shared their knowledge and experiences in five panels and six speaker presentation sessions. Simultaneously with the panels and speeches, the stands were visited by the Military Academy students with great interest.
The event, in which more than 2300 Military Academy students actively participated in total, attracted attention with its unique structure that brings education and technology together.

While the conference emphasizes the strategic importance of artificial intelligence and cyber security for the defense industry; It paved the way for students, public institutions and private sector representatives to come together to share information and lay the foundations of new collaborations.
