THE 2nd CYBER SECURITY, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ELECTRONIC WARFARE SUMMIT WAS HELD AT THE ARMY COMBAT SCHOOL

Under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defense and in the organization of the Presidency of Defense Industries; The 2nd Cyber ​​Security, Artificial Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Summit, hosted by the National Defense University Military Academy and organized in cooperation with the Turkish Cyber ​​Security Cluster and the Defense Industry Artificial Intelligence Capability Cluster, was held at the Military Academy on 11-12 May 2026.

The second of the "Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence Conference", the first of which was held successfully on 20-21 May 2025, was expanded this year and provided a more holistic perspective of defense technologies by including the Electronic Warhead.

The opening program of the summit was held with the participation of high-level representatives of the defense industry, academy and military education ecosystem. Within the scope of the opening and protocol speeches; Vice President of the Presidency of Defense Industries Mr. Mustafa Murat ŞEKER, Vice Rector of the National Defense University Mr. Prof. Dr. Serdar SALMAN, Dean of the National Defense University, Military Academy, Prof. Dr. Arif SARI and the Head of Cyber ​​Security and Information Systems Department of the Presidency of Defense Industries, Mr. Murat ÇİZGEL, addressed the participants.

ASELSAN Deputy General Manager Mr. Mustafa YAMAN also participated in the opening program. While a plaque of appreciation was presented to ASELSAN, which sponsored the event, for its contributions, Mr. Mustafa YAMAN received the plaque of appreciation presented by the Vice Rector of the National Defense University.

After the opening program, protocol members visited the stands in the event area and received information about the products, solutions and technologies developed by the companies. A total of 24 companies operating in the fields of cyber security, artificial intelligence and electronic warfare opened stands within the scope of the summit. Companies had the opportunity to come together with MSU students and share their sectoral experiences, technological capabilities and career opportunities.

The event is not only limited to conference sessions, but is designed in an applied and experience-oriented structure. Military equipment, electronic warfare tools, UAVs, drones and similar systems were exhibited in the foyer and outside areas, allowing students to closely examine defense technologies. Thus, students had the opportunity to see the equivalents of cyber security, artificial intelligence and electronic warfare in the defense industry in the field.

During the two-day summit, 3 panels and 7 keynote speeches were held in the conference hall. Within the scope of the program, panels titled "Digital Front: The Age of Cyber, Electronic Warfare and Artificial Intelligence", "Agentic AI and Autonomous Systems" and "EW in Today's and Future Operations Field" were held. Additionally, “Fully Independent Production in the Defense Industry”, “AM as a Force Multiplier”, “Guide and Captain: Universal Autonomy in Difficult Conditions”, “Intelligence is Artificial, the Threat is Real”, “Innovative Methods in Combating Unmanned Systems”, “The Changing Face of the Digital Battlefield: Artificial Intelligence, Open Source Intelligence and New Generation Cyber Threats” and “LLM as a Decision Support Method” Keynote sessions titled "Using the Device" were held.

Closing speeches were made by Mr. Ahmet Bahadır BÜLBÜL, Head of Electronic Warfare and Radar Systems Department of the Presidency of Defense Industries, Mr. Murat ÇİZGEL, Head of Cyber Security and Information Systems Department of the Presidency of Defense Industries, Mr. Prof. Dr. Arif SARI and MSÜ KHO School Commander Major General Levent Sabahattin GÜLDAĞI.

During the summit, simultaneous trainings were held on Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Electronic Warfare. During the two-day training, students had the opportunity to meet with field experts and learn about current technologies, threats, application areas and needs in the defense industry.

The summit brings together the public, academia, defense industry, technology companies and students; It made a significant contribution to increasing strategic awareness in the fields of cyber security, artificial intelligence and electronic warfare, strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and bringing young talents together with the defense technologies ecosystem.
