Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University – Congress and Culture Center
"HackNiğde 2025: Future Solutions Hackathon", held on 25-26 October 2025, brought together the technology leaders of the future.
The hackathon, which was held for the third time this year with the theme of "Disinformation", received nearly 150 applications with intense interest from young people from all over Turkey. The 25 teams that passed the preliminary evaluation competed to develop “innovative solutions against real-world digital threats” in a 24-hour uninterrupted coding marathon.
🖇 Opening Program
The opening program of the Hackathon; Niğde Governor Mr. Cahit ÇELİK, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan USLU, Niğde Deputy Prof. Dr. Cevahir UZKURT, Deputy Mayor Mr. Muharrem ÇİFCİBAŞI, protocol members, sector representatives, academicians and many students attended.
After the opening speeches, the Hackathon was officially started by providing information about the competition theme and rules.
👩💻 Mentoring and Evaluation
During the two days of the event, the competitors were supported by nearly 20 mentors consisting of Niğde Technopark companies, Turkish Cyber Security Cluster member companies and university academicians.
🏆 Awards and Closing Program
The event continued with the panel titled "Career on the Digital Front: Anatomy of the Next Generation Cyber Security Expert". The panel was moderated by Prof. Dr. While Alper Aytekin undertakes; Yasin KAHRAMANER / ArkSigner, İsmail Onur EMRE / Priente, Mert DEMİR / NÖHÜ Computer Eng. Graduate and Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Şakir DOKUZ / NÖHÜ Eng. Fak. Info. Eng. Plenty. Chairman He shared his sectoral experiences with young people.
At the end of the intense and exciting marathon, a total of six teams received their awards, including the top three teams and three honorable mentions as a result of the jury evaluations.

🥈 2nd Prize: 20,000 TL
🥉 3rd Prize: 10,000 TL
🏅 Honorable Mention Awards: 9,000 TL (for 3 teams)
In the closing program, Turkish Cyber Security Cluster General Coordinator Alpaslan KESİCİ, NÖHÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Awards were presented by Hasan USLU and Deputy Mayor Muharrem ÇİFCİBAŞI.
🤝 A Collaboration That Directs the Future
HackNigde 2025; It was implemented in cooperation with Türkiye Cyber Security Cluster, Ahiler Development Agency, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Niğde Technopark and Bor OSB.
The event was completed as an exemplary organization that strengthens Niğde's digital production ecosystem, contributes to domestic cyber security solutions and reveals the potential of young entrepreneurs.
