Türkiye Cyber Security Cluster organized a "Decision Workshop" and determined the new three-year road map with its member companies, public representatives and academicians.The Cyber Security Cluster has carried out many successful works towards the development of the cyber security ecosystem since its establishment.
In 2017, with the main goal of maturation and dissemination of local and national products; The foundations of the Cyber Cluster were laid with the participation of public institutions, companies operating in the sector and academy representatives.
Cyber Security Cluster, which set out in line with the vision of "Being competitive and having a say in the global market with competent human resources and branded local/national solutions in the field of cyber security"; It carried out the necessary activities by working in many areas needed by companies and the ecosystem, such as increasing access to domestic and foreign markets, developing human resources, and increasing financing options.In order to take its successful work to the next level, the Cyber Security Cluster; Four workshops were held before the decision workshop since 2021, in order to determine the needs of the national-international market, create new targets and determine the future vision of the cluster, with a group effort consisting of member companies, public representatives and the academy.Needs were prioritized as a result of the experience sharing of the academy, private sector and public on "Access to Foreign Markets" in the first workshop, "Competition Management" in the second, "Ecosystem Design" in the third, and "Cooperation Model" in the fourth workshop.Finally, the Decision Workshop was held at the SSB Nuri Demirağ Conference Hall on June 30, 2022. The delegation, consisting of industry and public representatives, academia and students, was divided into 6 different working groups and models for cooperation and projects for the future of the sector were discussed.By evaluating the project suggestions brought to the agenda in previous workshops, an action priority list was created with common sense within the framework of the Multi-Criteria Decision Making Model. Within the framework of the resulting action items, a three-year road map of the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster was determined.
