Cyber Cluster - Cyber Homeland Bootcamp and Vertical Specialization Training, which is an important component of the Development Agencies Cyber Homeland Program carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Presidency of Defense Industries, Digital Transformation Office and Turkey Cyber Security Cluster, was successfully completed in Antalya between 21 - 29 July 2024.

Presidential Defense Industry Directorate Cyber Security and Information Systems Department Head Ahmet Bahadır Bülbül, Turkey Cyber Security Cluster General Coordinator Alpaslan KESİCİ, Western Mediterranean Development Agency Secretary General Volkan Güler and Western Black Sea Development Agency Secretary General Dr. Lütfi Altunsu gave a speech to young people.
During his speech, Development Agencies General Manager Ahmet Şimşek, Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Mehmet Fatih surprised both the guests in the hall and the young people in training by connecting to KACIR via video. Mr. In his speech, the Minister made suggestions to young people about the importance of Cyber Security.
In this event, which was held with the participation of 350 students from all over Turkey, young talents received in-depth training in the field of cyber security and exhibited their skills. Students gained new achievements in the field of cyber security with a 200-hour intensive training / mentor program from the trainers and mentors of our Turkish Cyber Security Cluster member companies and the Cyber Homeland project.
Cyber Homeland Bootcamp and Vertical Specialization Training was full of reverse engineering studies, scenario-based exercises and competitions of teams formed on the sub-themes of cyber security. Some teams formed from students; It consists of SOC Team, Red Team Team, Purple Team Team, Scada/IoT Team, Cloud Computing Security Team, Reverse Engineering Team, Linux Kernel Development Team, Mobile Application Security Team, Yavuzlar Web Security Team, Zayotem Team, Yıldız CTI Team and CyberDET Teams.
This program, which supports young entrepreneurship and career planning, was an important step in meeting our country's need for cyber security experts.
In the "Career Meetings" moderated by Turkey Cyber Security General Coordinator Alpaslan KESİCİ, THY Cyber Security President Kadir YILDIZ, one of our members STM Cyber Security Director Bülent ARSAL, GAİS Cyber Security Company's general manager Osman DOĞAN, Treatmon General Manager Gökhan YÜCELER, Barikat Deputy General Manager Emrah BAYARÇELİK and Former Trapmine owner Celil ÜNÜVER mentored the students. He shared his experiences and opinions about shaping their future.
In addition, a cooperation protocol on Cyber Range was signed between STM and Cyrops, one of our Cyber Security Cluster companies.
