T.R. Türkiye Cyber Security Cluster, established by the Presidency of Defense Industries to develop the domestic and national Cyber Security Ecosystem, met with its members at the 2nd Sector Summit held in Antalya on 22-23 February.
T.R. Presidential Defense Industry President Prof.Dr. İsmail Demir, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır and T.R. President of the Presidential Digital Transformation Office Dr. More than 200 participants from Cyber Security Cluster member companies attended the 2nd Sector Summit held in Antalya with the participation of Ali Taha Koç.
Following the opening speeches made by SSB Vice President Mustafa ŞEKER and Digital Transformation Office Head Dr. Ali Taha KOÇ, the 2019 Evaluation and 2020 Vision of the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster were shared with the participants by SSB Cyber Security and Information Systems Group President Mustafa ÖZÇELİK.
The summit continued with the 2020 Vision Support to Cyber Security Ecosystem presentations made by Aselsan Deputy General Manager Bayram GENÇCAN, Havelsan Cyber Security Director Borga ERBİL, Stm Cyber Security and Big Data Director Sedat SALMAN and Teknopark Istanbul General Manager Bilal TOPÇU, İTÜ Arı Teknokent Marketing and Business Development Director Arzu ERYILMAZ and Turkey Cyber Security Cluster and Jet Acceleration organized by Havelsan. The first program of the program was also presented by Seyfullah KILIÇ, the founder of Swordsec company.
The program also included events held simultaneously with the Summit. Students were also interviewed via live connection to the Van and Isparta stages of the Cyber Anatolia CTF Program.
At the Summit, where the new cyber security products launched by the Cluster members in 2019 were presented to all participants, the collaborations made between the Cluster Members in 2019 were also announced to all members.
At the summit, a cooperation protocol was also signed by HAVELSAN and STM in order to share the responsibilities and areas of activity within the Cluster and to carry out the work carried out with the Cluster member companies in joint coordination.
SSB President Prof. Dr. Following the Special Sessions where the needs of the sector were discussed with the member companies, with the participation of Ismail DEMİR, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih KACIR and Head of Digital Transformation Office Dr.Ali Taha KOÇ, awards were given to the Cluster member companies for their support to the sector.
