Cyber Security Vocational Schools are being established within Ankara, Ege, Gebze Technical and Istanbul Technical Universities, and the "Wanted Employees" of the cyber security industry are coming.

Cyber Security Vocational Schools, which are among the reference projects of our Republic that will contribute to the realization of the "Turkey Century" vision, will be opened in the 2023 academic year within Ankara University, Ege University, Gebze Technical University and Istanbul Technical University.
It is aimed to provide qualified workforce to the sector and to create a sustainable workforce development program in vocational schools that will be supported by cooperation models to be developed together with the national cyber security ecosystem.
It will be opened in these schools “Cyber Security Analyst and Operator” In the associate degree program, students will be trained on basic subjects in the field of cyber security, as well as subjects such as cyber security incident management, security technology operations, penetration tests and network security. Subject matter experts from the industry will also be able to teach some selected field courses.
The draft curriculum of the program was prepared together with the Presidential Digital Transformation Office and sector representatives. The program, whose maturation studies continue with the commission consisting of expert representatives from Ankara, Aegean, Gebze Technical and Istanbul Technical universities, is designed to provide knowledge and skills at the level to work as a "Cyber Security Incident Analyst, SGOM/SOME 1st Level Support Personnel, Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, Cyber Security Systems Operator".
Courses will be offered theoretically and practically, and students will also have access to internship and field vocational training opportunities in companies located in technoparks and companies that are members of the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster.
The teaching language of the 2-year "Cyber Security Analyst and Operator" associate degree program to be opened in Cyber Security Vocational Schools will start with an English preparatory class and the language of instruction will be at least 30% English.
To schools, T.R. Students will be accepted according to the Central Higher Education Institutions Examination and TYT score type conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), and 25 students will be admitted to each university in the fall semester of 2023.
