At Ankara Chamber of Industry “Cyber Security in the Second Century” panel was organized. In the panel where all aspects of Cyber Security were discussed, experts in the field explained what precautions should be taken against the increasing risks and threats in the cyber world.
ASO President made the opening speech of the panel. Seyit ArdicDrawing attention to the importance of using domestic and national products for cyber security, he said, "The use of domestic and national products in ensuring our cyber security is of strategic importance for both our national security and economic independence."
Türkiye Cyber Security Cluster General Coordinator and SSB Consultant Alpaslan Cutter In his speech, he informed the participants about the work of the Cyber Cluster and stated that we are taking firm steps towards digital independence. Giving brief information about cyber attacks, Kesici stated that he believed that it would be beneficial to sign a protocol between ASO and TSGK in order to protect industrialists with domestic products. TSGK General Coordinator Alpaslan Kesici emphasized that artificial intelligence-based cyber attacks, attacks on IoT, bio and recognition technology risks and attacks on industrial control systems are expected to increase among the cyber threats awaiting the world and our country in the near future.
Emphasizing the importance of domestic production, Kesici underlined that global producers are not innocent.
Chairman of ASO Computer, Software Industry Professional Committee Nuray Başar Stating that cyber attacks are in their golden age, he said, "Cyber security has ceased to be a very important issue, it has become a necessity. It continues to be more vital every day."
