At the summit, where the theme of "Human Resources is the Critical Element in Cyber Security" was discussed, BAKKA Secretary General Dr. Lütfi Kansu, Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, T.R. Presidential Defense Industry Vice President Mustafa Murat Şeker, T.R. Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Çetin Ali Dönmez, T.R. President of the Presidential Digital Transformation Office Dr. Ali Taha Koç and Zonguldak Governor Mustafa Tutulmaz made the opening speech.

Underlining that cyber security is now a need and continues to be more vital day by day, Koç said, "Innovative technologies have completely changed our way of thinking, our ways of behaving and the way we do business. While digitalization improves our quality of life, it can also make us victims of cyber attacks. Cyber attacks, which were less common in the past and were usually done personally, have now become complex, destructive and most importantly target-oriented at the state level. The motivation of the attackers has also changed a lot. Now they are moving towards gaining benefit and causing harm." made his assessment.

Stating that they do not yet know what kind of destructive effect artificial intelligence will have, especially in terms of "hacking", Koç continued: "We see that cyber attacks are becoming smarter. It is certain that existing attack methods will become smarter and more perfect. Now, when cyber attacks start to be made with artificial intelligence, the human factor disappears. When artificial intelligence starts to make cyber attacks, it will not get tired and will continue to attack systems 24/7. So, how will we take precautions against this? We will also develop artificial intelligence systems. It is 100 percent effective in any system, anywhere in the world." "A cyber security environment cannot be created. We will be aware of this first."

Emphasizing that there is a huge difference between knowing and doing what is necessary in cyber security, Koç noted that they want to increase the digital literacy of everyone from 7 to 70.

Koç stated that they realized that awareness about cyber security in Türkiye should start at an earlier age and added that they now need to do things with common sense, that they have started a study in order to use domestic and national products produced with a well-established coordination group in the public sector, and that they will start using more domestic products in the public sector in the near future.

We were able to produce many products. We are very successful in cyber security. I believe we will be very successful here." he said. Referring to the fact that cyberspace is not limited to the defense industry, Şeker said, "When we say cyberspace, it concerns every field. From the energy sector to the transportation sector, from communications to critical infrastructures, everywhere is now under threat. We have to protect all of these, we need to take precautions regarding them. We are all closely watching the recent Russia-Ukraine war. In addition to the classic conventional warfare, cyber warfare continues from behind." he said.

After the speeches, T.R. A cooperation protocol signing ceremony was held for the Cyber ​​Homeland Competence Centers, which will be established in cooperation between the Presidency of Defense Industries Turkey Cyber ​​Security Cluster, Western Black Sea Development Agency, Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Karabük University and Bartın University.

After the signing ceremony and taking a souvenir photo, a raffle was held and gifts were given.

Angel investor and Entrepreneur Burak Dayıoğlushared his experiences in the field of cyber security with young people. He explained to the students how they implemented Atarlabs and what they encountered along the way. Dayıoğlu's speech was watched with interest by students and guests.

Then Gazi University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alkaninformed the young people and the guests with his presentation emphasizing the importance of developing employment in the field of cyber security.

The speakers of the panel moderated by Ulukavak were T.R. Deputy General Director of the Ministry of Industry and Technology İrfan Keskin, Istanbul University Faculty Member Assoc.
