THE 33RD PUBLIC CYBER SECURITY DAY EVENT WAS HELD

Türkiye Cyber Security Cluster continues to bring its members together with our Public Institutions.

Türkiye Cyber Security Cluster is working to strengthen the local and national cyber security ecosystem by bringing its members together with public institutions. These meetings aim to provide local solutions to the cyber security needs of both the public and private sectors and to increase Türkiye's independence in the field of cyber security.

The 33rd Public Cyber Security Day event was held by the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster at the State Supply Office on January 29, 2025!

Held regularly every month Public Cyber Security Days The event was completed with intense participation this month as well. The opening presentation at the event was made by Turkish Cyber Security Cluster TUSGM and Technical Studies Coordinator Mr. Cem İYİİŞ carried out.

Product development processes of cluster members are evaluated with a two-stage method. Cem İYİİŞ emphasized that the first stage of this process includes basic steps such as determining the mission, vision and road map and creating the talent matrix. He stated that in the second stage, the maturity levels of the products are evaluated and the aim is to ensure quality and safety criteria before being released to the market.

He touched upon critical issues such as the development of Test (PoC) environments within the scope of the modernization studies carried out at the Turkish National Cyber Demonstration Center, the preparation of need-oriented scenarios together with the manufacturers and their presentation to the stakeholders.

He also stated that digital events will be organized to contribute to the development of the cyber security ecosystem. It is aimed to increase the sharing of knowledge and experience in the sector with events such as SIEM Week and Firewall Week. In the technical presentation, the innovations that these events will bring to the sector were explained in detail.

In the presentation made by İYİİŞ, the methods followed by the members of the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster for product development processes, the studies on improving test environments and increasing interaction with stakeholders in the sector were discussed in detail.

FolSec; Introduced Secure File Management Solution

FolSec introduced FolSec, its innovative file security and management solution, at the Public Cyber Security Day event. At the event, the FolSec team met with senior managers and decision makers of public institutions in the field of file security and explained the advantages of the solution and its contributions to the national data security infrastructure.

Introducing FolSec, Founding Partner İsmail Kayakıran and R&D Manager Oğulcan Şişman emphasized the value that the solution will create not only at the national level but also as an innovative and reliable solution in the international market. Offering comprehensive features such as NTFS permission management, user activity tracking, file type analysis and secure file sharing platform, FolSec meets the needs of a wide range of users by easily adapting to hybrid and on-premise infrastructures. It redefines security and management processes on file servers with Permission, Audit, File Type, Anomaly Detection & Action and secure file sharing perspectives.

Offering a powerful solution especially for public institutions with high data security and sensitive file management needs, FolSec draws attention with its features of detecting suspicious activities, creating alarms and taking action in file and folder sharing areas where unstructured data is kept. For example, it can automatically disable user accounts and access to shared areas in critical situations against suspicious ransomware activities detected in a specific folder.

The FolSec team stated that they will continue their work to become a strategic defense tool by closing file security vulnerabilities at the national level with domestic resources and to contribute to Turkey's technological independence in this direction.

DataFlowX Introduces Email Security Gateway DataMessageX Solution
