THE 16TH PUBLIC CYBER SECURITY DAY EVENT WAS HELD

The 16th Public Cyber Security Day Event was organized by the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster at the State Supply Office on January 17, 2023.

The event, organized to disseminate local and national cyber security products in the public sector, was organized by T.R. It started with the speech of Alpaslan Kesici, Presidential Advisor to the Presidency of Defense Industries and General Coordinator of the Turkish Cyber ​​Security Cluster. Stating that the products of member companies should be popularized in the public sector in every event, Kesici said that the use of domestic products in the public sector is increasing day by day and thanked the participants for their support.

Servet Koç, General Manager of the State Supply Office, emphasized that DMO provides convenience to public institutions in purchasing domestic cyber security products through the Tekno Catalog portal. He stated that they are with them as DMO in the purchasing processes of public institutions and left the floor to Suat Yamaç.

DMO Tekno Catalog Branch Manager Suat Yamaç made a presentation giving information about the processes. Yamaç made a detailed presentation under the headings of the place and importance of public procurement in economies, DMO as a central purchasing institution, procurement methods, catalog method operation, purposes of the Tekno catalog platform, Tekno catalog figures and products, cyber security products in the Tekno catalog. Yamaç stated that they signed contracts with 30 companies registered in the Turkish Cyber ​​Security Cluster, 152 products are in the system, and there are 13 companies in the application process.

T.R. Servet Gül, General Director of Information Technology of the Ministry of Justice, talked about the cyber security efforts and vision in his ministries. He shared his experiences on domestic cyber security products and services with other participants and left the floor to Necati Özgen. Subsequently, Information Security Branch Manager Necati Özgen talked about all the digital transformation processes in the Ministry of Justice and the UYAP project and explained the benefits they provided as a result of the innovations. Özgen also stated that some of our member companies use their products and are satisfied, and also said that the ongoing PoC processes are continuing.

From our members malwation Kağan Işıldak, co-founder and CEO of the company, made a presentation to the public decision makers. Işıldak stated that they were established as a start-up company in Istanbul 3 years ago. In his presentation, Kağan Işıldak detailed Threat.Zone, an umbrella threat analysis platform that meets the malware analysis service that malware analysts and reverse engineers need in SoC processes, and Malwation CDR, a sterilization technology that they approach with a zero-trust policy against file-based threats, which they call digital bleach. He underlined that they serve more than a thousand users in 90 countries in both cloud and on-prem environments with the Threat.Zone platform. He stated that they meet the malware sandboxing and static analysis needs of users and facilitate analysis processes with advanced interactive modules. “With our CDR technology, we create an advanced line of defense by sterilizing potentially suspicious attachments in e-mail traffic, unsafe files loaded from web applications, and file traffic occurring at the network layer, with the software we position inline into the institutions' architectures.” " he said and answered the participants' questions about the product.

After the break, the event continued with another member company. BTYÖN It continued with the presentation of Founding Partner Fatih Koç. In his presentation, Koç introduced the Optimate Solutions solution family, a family of integrated management solutions developed to support institutions and organizations in ensuring their compliance with legal regulations and international standards. The Presidential Digital Transformation Office introduced the compliance with the Information and Communication Security Guide and the audit management modules of compliance with the guide. He shared information about central control, status tracking, notification management, integration and reporting tools through which user errors can be prevented. Koç also shared information about the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System Solution family and the realization of a system that can be audited and monitored at any time with the Optimate Solutions product family, without the need to use any conventional tools. Fatih Koç ended his presentation by answering the questions of the participants.
