New Public Cloud Computing Strategy Introduced by the Presidential Digital Transformation Office;
Ankara - In the presentation made by the Head of Department of the Presidential Digital Transformation Office, Furkan Civelek, the "Public Cloud Computing Strategy" was introduced, which was prepared to provide cost savings, strengthen cyber security and increase service quality and innovation by effectively utilizing cloud computing in meeting the information technology infrastructure needs of public institutions and organizations.
The Strategy is Designed Around Three Strategic Priorities:
Providing Cloud Services Effectively and Reliably:
Taking into account the concerns regarding data and cyber security, which are common concerns in cloud use, a certification and authorization mechanism has been designed to provide effective and reliable cloud services to be used by public institutions and organizations. This mechanism covers criteria such as service quality, standardization and security requirements for cloud service providers to provide services. This mechanism, prepared by taking into account globally accepted criteria sets, aims to guarantee the reliability and quality of cloud services.
Implementing Cloud Migration:
Guidance documents will be prepared in order to minimize the difficulties that public institutions and organizations may encounter during the transition to the cloud and to ensure that they follow a correct strategy. In order to carry out this process in the most effective way, IT asset inventories will be prepared for the use of cloud computing by public institutions, analyzed and correct migration decisions will be made, and workloads will be moved to the cloud after detailed planning. Additionally, after this process, Cloud Computing Migration Roadmaps will be created for monitoring and improvement activities.
Increasing Workforce Competencies:
A gap analysis will be conducted to determine the personnel roles for cloud computing in public institutions and organizations and the competencies corresponding to these roles. In this direction, institutional capacity and workforce competencies in the field of cloud computing will be improved. The aim is to create a workforce competent and equipped with cloud computing in the public sector.
President Furkan Civelek emphasized that the strategy will accelerate the digital transformation processes of public institutions, increase efficiency by providing cost savings, and create a more robust structure in terms of cyber security. With the new strategy, it is aimed to provide more innovative and quality solutions in public services.

Kron introduced its Secure Access Management and Telemetry Pipeline products:
Kron Cyber Security Products solution and product team introduced Kron Secure Access Management and Telemetry Pipeline solutions.
Kron Secure Access Management solution was created to provide strong management and security controls over the sessions of authorized administrators. All activities occurring during the sessions are monitored, recorded and audited. In addition, it is possible to increase the security level by preventing the execution of defined critical commands.
In the cyber security world, where 2FA (Two-factor authentication) methods are becoming more and more important day by day, OTP, Geographic verification and administrator approval mechanisms provide the opportunity to maximize session security.
With the Kron PAM password vault provided by the solution, authorized administrators also have the opportunity to ensure the security of the passwords used to access the systems. These passwords secure access to a specific resource as well as password exchange between applications. With the database access manager, secure access to different databases as well as resources is provided, transactions made during access are recorded, and the query results made by authorized administrators are masked according to the corporate policy.
With Kron PAM, access to different operating systems, databases, network elements, virtualization infrastructure used in the system infrastructure of Public Institutions, as well as sessions to cyber security solutions, are made secure and traceable.
