While the critical importance of cyber security increases day by day with the acceleration of digitalization in industrial production, a meaningful event was organized in Konya to raise awareness in this field.
In cooperation with the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster, which is carried out under the leadership of the Konya Provincial Cyber Security Sub-Commission, established in line with the decisions of the Industry and Technology Cooperation Board (SANTEK), under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries, “Konya Industry Cyber Security Day” It was held on August 1, 2025 at the Konya Organized Industrial Zone Conference Hall.
The event was attended by leading companies in the cyber security industry, as well as major industrial organizations in Konya. The program, enriched with the presentations and sector insights of NETCOM, BG-TEK, AFATEK, LASTGUARD, RAKORT and OZZTECH companies, members of the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster, attracted great attention.
The event started with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, followed by a promotional film conveying the activities and vision of the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster.
In the opening speeches; Konya Industry and Technology Provincial Director Mr. Vehbi KONARLI, Deputy Chairman of Konya Chamber of Industry Mr. Ahmet KÜÇÜKBACAK and Head of Cyber Security and Information Systems Department of the Presidency of Defense Industries Mr. Ahmet Bahadır BÜLBÜL He drew attention to the strategic link between industry and cyber security.
After the protocol speeches, the participants visited the stands of the cluster member companies and laid the groundwork for collaborations through networking. The technical presentations held throughout the day were one of the most striking parts of the event:

The Provincial Director, who was invited back to the stage to give the closing speech Mr. Vehbi KONARLI carried out. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of strengthening the Konya industry against digital threats and drew attention to the role of such events in increasing cooperation and awareness.
