Held on the second day of the event Entrepreneurship in the Digital Economy and Cyber Security Ecosystem Turkish Cyber Security Cluster General Coordinator and SSB Consultant in the session titled Alpaslan Cutter took part as a speaker.Moderated by TOBB Software Assembly President Ertan Barut’In the session held by THY Information Technologies Security President Kadir Yıldız, Gazi University Faculty Member Assoc. Murat Yilmaz and the founder of Cyberpath, one of our members, is a Cyber Security Expert Besim Altınok He also took part as a speaker.Alpaslan Kesici started his speech by stating that the field of cyber security is a very strategic field. TSGK General Coordinator said to the young people in the hall, "I would like to say that the local and national products developed by you are much safer for us." he said. He stated that with the development of the domestic ecosystem in recent times, the Presidency of Defense Industries and many public institutions have preferred domestic and national products.He underlined that Siber Cluster member companies exported products to 104 countries in total and that the domestic ecosystem has made great progress in the last 5 years. He reminded that students and new graduates who are interested in cyber security can apply for training camps by following the Cyber Cluster social media accounts.Talking about the domestic and international activities of the Cyber Cluster, Kesici underlined that they organized the Cyber Security Week, which is Turkey's largest cyber security event.Kesici also touched upon the testing and certification processes carried out together with TR-TEST and the Cyber Hygiene Project. He also informed the audience about the Turkish National Cyber Demonstration Center (TUSGM). He said that thanks to TUSGM, the PoC processes of the products can be carried out much more easily.Kesici said, “Specific on the subject of entrepreneurship, we organize 'demo-days' to provide funds and investors to companies, and bring investors and companies together.” he said. Referring to the Seed Project, Alpaslan Kesici stated that the project covers ideas and projects on determined focus areas, unlike 'demo-days' and entrepreneur-investor meetings, and that the goal of this project is to support entrepreneurs in every sense financially, technically and academically.In his detailed presentation, Kesici informed the audience about all the activities of the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster. Kesici ended his words by addressing young people and stating that they were waiting for cyber security enthusiasts to the Cyber Cluster's office.
Taking the floor afterwards, Cyberpath's founder, Cyber Security Expert Besim Altınok, stated that he has been a cyber security consultant for more than 10 years and talked about the establishment process of Cyberpath. He stated that entrepreneurship in the field of cyber security is a challenging path, but if they trust in their own abilities, products and services, they should never give up and they will eventually be rewarded for their efforts. Stating that cyber security is constantly improving, Altınok said, "In addition to penetration test training, we have started to focus on strategically important issues such as IoT security and SCADA security." Stating that the Cyber Cluster supports start-up members, Besim Altınok thanked the Cyber Cluster in the presence of Alpaslan Kesici for their support.After the speeches made by Kadir Yıldız and Murat Yılmaz in their respective fields, the session ended with a question and answer session.Gallery
