Endpoint security has become one of the critical security layers in cyber security architectures, especially with the increase in advanced threats. Attack techniques that go beyond traditional signature-based approaches bring about the need for greater visibility at endpoints, behavioral analysis and real-time intervention.
In line with this need Our Turkish Cyber Security Cluster member C-Prot Türkiye's first domestic AV/EDR Endpoint Security Platform, developed by SAHA 2026, was delivered to the Ministry of National Defense at the ceremony held within the scope of SAHA 2026. T.R. The platform developed under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries; It combines New Generation Antivirus and EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) capabilities under an integrated architecture.
Why AV/EDR?
Today, advanced threat actors go beyond classical malware approaches and use process manipulation, in-memory execution, identity exploitation and behavior-based attack techniques. That's why modern endpoint security isn't just about blocking malicious files;
· monitoring process behavior,
· event correlation,
· telemetry analysis,
· anomaly detection,
incident response
It requires multi-layered skills such as:
The EDR approach continuously collects data from endpoints, making it possible to make the attack chain visible and respond to threats faster.
Technical Approach of the Platform
C-Prot AV/EDR platform;
· high volume telemetry collection,
· real-time event analysis,
· behavioral threat detection,
· central administration,
· was built on rapid response mechanisms.
One of the main goals of the platform is to detect advanced threats at an early stage and minimize operational response time by providing deep visibility at endpoints. Combining Next Generation Antivirus and EDR capabilities under a single agent architecture, the platform is positioned especially for critical infrastructures and institutions with high data sensitivity, with its high telemetry and advanced threat detection capabilities.
In addition, the solution was developed to be fully compatible with local and national operating systems, especially Pardus.
Strategic Importance
Endpoint security and EDR technologies; It is among the advanced security systems that require high engineering, continuous data processing and advanced threat intelligence. Today, the number of countries that can develop solutions in this field is quite limited. Only certain countries, especially the USA, Israel, Russia and China, can develop advanced EDR technologies. The fact that Turkey has developed a domestic solution in this field is not just a technical achievement; It means a strategic threshold in terms of reducing foreign dependency in the security of critical systems.
This platform is also an important engineering achievement that positions Turkey among the countries that not only use these technologies but can also develop them.
Endpoint Security in Critical Systems
Modern defense systems no longer consist only of physical platforms. Communication infrastructures, mission systems, control stations and various intelligent components largely operate on software-based architectures. Therefore, the security of these systems; It becomes directly related to protecting endpoints, monitoring events, analyzing threats and quickly responding to attacks. For this reason, it is of strategic importance that the cyber security layers used in critical infrastructures are local and controllable.
As emphasized at the Cyber Security Board meeting held on May 5, 2026; Protection of critical infrastructures, data sovereignty and development of domestic technologies are among Turkey's priority security topics.
Featured Messages at the Delivery Ceremony
Deputy Chairman of the Presidency of Defense Industries Hüseyin Avşar, Head of the Ministry of Defense Communications and Information System Department Brigadier General Mustafa Murat Kabukçu, Head of the SSB Cyber Security and Information Systems Department Murat Çizgel, HAVELSAN Deputy General Manager Kemal Kaptaner and representatives from relevant institutions and organizations attended the delivery ceremony held within the scope of SAHA 2026. In the speeches made at the ceremony, the strategic importance of domestically developing cyber security technologies, especially used in critical infrastructures and defense systems, was emphasized.
C-Prot Chairman of the Board of Directors S. Bilgehan ÜstündağPointing out that modern defense systems have become largely software-based, he stated that the cyber security layers that protect these systems should also be domestic.
Murat Çizgel, Head of SSB Cyber Security and Information Systems Department, He stated that endpoint security and EDR technologies have become one of the most critical components of today's security architecture, and emphasized that it is of strategic importance that such a level of technology has been developed domestically in Turkey.
Brigadier General Mustafa Murat Kabukçu, Head of the Ministry of National Defense Communications and Information System Department He stated that it is an important gain that harmful activities in the systems can now be detected and prevented with a local solution.
HAVELSAN Deputy General Manager Kemal Kaptaner, In his speech, he pointed out the importance of strengthening the cyber security technologies used in critical institutions with domestic solutions and stated that the proliferation of domestic cyber security technologies in the defense ecosystem has strategic value.
Hüseyin Avşar, Deputy Chairman of the Presidency of Defense Industries He pointed out the critical importance of endpoint security and stated that the lack of a local solution in this area has been felt for a long time. Avşar stated that it is an important step to start using the developed platform in critical institutions, especially the Ministry of National Defense and the Presidency of Defense Industries, and emphasized that they will support the dissemination of the solution throughout the country.
The developed AV/EDR platform is aimed to be widely used in the defense industry, energy, finance, public services and other critical infrastructure areas in the coming period.
This delivery is an important milestone in the development of Turkey's domestic engineering capacity in the field of cyber security.
