As you know, many aid campaigns and mobilizations were launched as a result of the earthquakes that caused many deaths and destruction in 11 provinces and deeply affected our country.It has been determined that the web pages where these campaigns are carried out are visually imitated and that fraud (phishing) sites have also emerged that exploit the goodwill of our citizens to obtain their personal data and use this information.It is of great importance that the information systems that host the websites where the donation campaigns that our citizens wholeheartedly support are carried out, have resistant defense configurations against possible types of attacks such as service interruption and data leakage. It is thought that significant contributions can be made to taking the necessary precautions and preventing cyber attack attempts by conducting collaborative studies including "penetration tests" and "cyber security audits" with our members working on this subject and sharing the findings with the relevant donor organizations and the internet service providers and application providers from which they receive information and communication technology infrastructure services.Due to the widespread implementation of distance education in our universities, it has become critical to ensure that remote access applications and communication infrastructures are protected against cyber security risks.It is envisaged to make significant contributions to the prevention of cyber attack attempts by conducting collaborative studies including "penetration tests" and "cyber security audits" with our members working on these issues and sharing the findings with TÜBİTAK ULAKNET and relevant university administrations.In addition, it was thought that our member companies could provide internship, candidate engineering or scholarship opportunities to students studying in regions affected by the earthquake, and in this context, a Cyber Workforce Call was made to our members.We would like to thank all our members who supported the Cyber Cluster's Cyber Imece call and look forward to the contributions of all our members.For communication on the subject: [email protected]
